You can choose from our range of current designs or we can design a custom option to suit your requirements.

We design homes using modules. These can be joined, stacked, placed end-on-end or side-by-side. This creates solutions for any location, landscape or personal requirements. We also have the option to add or change in the future.

Tourist Accommodation

Brief

To provide ten stand alone pavilions within a 40m2 floor area. The internal configuration to be studio styled comprising, bathroom, bedroom/living, covered deck and outside bath.

Location

The location is high on hills overlooking Canterbury plains in a, combination of grazing/ tussock and native bush(kanuka).
The terrain varies from gentle slopes with easy access to steeper slopes with challenging access.

Solution

It was felt that two approaches to the construction method was ideal.

A: The sites where the native bush was established and required the surrounding vegetation to be left untouched, we would manufacture offsite and crane the pavilions onto a minimal foundation.

B: The sites with either difficult access, or predominantly tussock we would build on site using our QUICKLIVING build system.

Of the ten pavilions, six would be manufactured off site with a total build time of, two months. The remaining four pavilions to be constructed on site would have a build time of one month. This would give the project a build time of three months.
